About the Host Societies
The International Spinal Cord Society – ISCoS
The International Spinal Cord Society (ISCoS), hosts of the ISCoS 2025 Annual Meeting, promotes the highest standard of care in the practice of spinal cord injury management for men, women, and children throughout the world. Our purpose is to study all problems relating to traumatic and non-traumatic lesions of the spinal cord, including prevention, basic and clinical research, medical and surgical management, education, rehabilitation, and social reintegration. Through its medical and multi-disciplinary team of professionals, ISCoS is dedicated to advancing education, research, and clinical excellence.

The Asian Spinal Cord Network - ASCoN
The Asian Spinal Cord Network (ASCoN) is a regional alliance dedicated to advancing spinal cord injury (SCI) rehabilitation, education, and research across Asia. Established in 2001 and affiliated with the International Spinal Cord Society (ISCoS), ASCoN unites clinicians, scientists, and rehabilitation professionals to promote excellence in care and knowledge exchange.
As part of our ongoing collaboration with the International Spinal Cord Society (ISCoS), ASCoN is proud to support ISCoS in advancing education and research through its global initiatives. One such highlight is the forthcoming 65th ISCoS Annual Scientific Meeting, to be held in Kuala Lumpur, 7–10 October 2026.
This flagship ISCoS event brings together the international SCI community — clinicians, researchers, and allied professionals — to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and drive innovation in spinal cord injury care and rehabilitation across regions.
